This project, completed as part of my postgraduate module 3D Optimisation, demonstrates my ability to recognise and apply advanced principles, processes, and terminology relevant to asset optimisation within a game development pipeline. Through structured planning and experimentation with a range of techniques like Modularity, Weighted normals, Geometry optimization, Normal floaters/Decals, andTexture resolution and software, I explored efficient workflows to create and evaluate optimised 3D game assets. The project highlights my capacity to act with autonomy in responding to a set brief, while ensuring professional standards in both the design and development of optimised assets.
